To everyone out there, be more careful on who you choose to do your projects. I am just your average human being, thinking that after being told I was dealing with a Christian that I would be lied to and deceived. While working our contract out in Sept. '08, I was under the impression that he was going to try to do his best and help me out, not only to get my roof fixed, but help me save money. He told me that he had extra plywood at his house left over from other jobs that he would use to cut cost of buying all new, use a 15# felt instead of 30# because I didn't need it here in my area, and would use a lower wind rated shingle since we don't get real high winds here in Ohio. He dragged his feet long enough that the job didn't actually get started until July '09. Now all that money that I was supposed to have been saving, he's trying to keep to cover cost of material increase, plus not only that, but that nsurance checks got sent to him because he called in enough to try to press the issue to speed up the process, that the last draw was cashed an deposited by him with out my signature(check had my name, plus mortgage company's name on it).

Isn't that some kind of fraud....but he states was an accident. He had no intentions of calling me, or otherwise I wouldv'e never known he had the check had it not been posted on my mortgage statement. He had me sign a work order an date it, then later to find out he added the total cost of project after the fact an signed it himself. Which that figure was actually higher($500, my deductible)than what the insurance company sent me....So what happened to the money that he was supposed to have been saving me. His figure was the exact amout of what the insurance had projected the job to cost, but take off the $500 for my deductible and he actually is charging more than what the insurance company sent ??? Now I have to deal with him to make him be a business man and stand behind his word. So, be more leary on who you pick to do your work, and always ask questions an never sign anything without seeing all work an costs upfront !!!!
