This company is a massive rip-off. Ask them to tell you about the charge every month of $75.00. Don't forget to ask about the taxes information and how you might have to pay at the end of the year. They start with your smallest debt amount first to negotiate. But won't inform your credit card companies until after 60 days of being on the program. So, in the mean time you become deliquent with your credit card companies.
While you wait they are waiting for your debt to be sold to a collection agency for upto half of what your debt is worth. If they wait a little longer they might be in luck to have another collection agency sell that debt and then they can settle for less than pennies on the dollar. Meanwhile, your accounts are being reported as late and your credit score is declining.
Be sure to read over all the documentation they send over to you through e-mail. It is very important to review all documentation.
They are charging you the service fee of up to 15% of your debt or as little as 8% yet, getting 75.00 a month charge from you. And in the meanwhile you could negotiate with your credit card companies yourself and save yourself a bundle of money.
This company will be your friend up until you sign up with the company. Afterwards, you will be pushed to the back of the line and forgotten about. If your getting sued by your credit card company all they do is offer advice.
Ask what happens if you were to get sued?
Just be careful with any debt negotation company. Anything they can do you can do better and save a ton of money in the meantime. If you do decide to go with a debt negotiation company then I would treat them like you would a doctor and ask any and everything before you sign anything.
