Colin,
Don't waste your time filing complaints with federal agencies such as the "Do not call" list. Despite their assurances that placing your name on the list will allow them to fine the companies calling you, and various other sinister punishments, the government will in fact do little or nothing to help. I filled out a complaint on the DNC list website and the last page informed me that the complaint was simply part of a database, and that no action would be taken regarding individual complaints. In other words, your tax money at work once again...
The one exception to this is suing the perpetrators (if you have lots of money and time to vent your frustrations). That process is complicated beyond belief and usually fruitless.
good luck

First of all let me offer my sincerest apologies to Colin. There are no commitments with the free product. There is a bonus free trial period to the membership websites that accompanies the free CD and we do our best to disclose this as it is stated on the sales page, the order page, the confirmation page and in the confirmation email. It is also disclosed in the first paragraph of the Terms and Conditions of the offer. The trial period is free for 7 days and you will not be charged if you cancel within your trial period. It is not our desire to bill clients who do not want the membership after the free trial offer ends.
When you order our product you must select "Ship My FREE Kit!". Right next to that button is the following statement in 10 pt. font:
Terms and Disclosures. By clicking "Ship My FREE Kit!" I am ordering the Google Pay Day CD and trial membership for one dollar and ninety-five cents S&H, after the seven-day trial I will be charged thirty-nine dollars and ninety-five cents a month thereafter if I do not cancel. I also agree to the fourteen day and twenty one day bonus trials to Grant Master and Network Agenda for seven dollars and ninety-five cents a month and nine dollars and ninety five cents a month thereafter, should I choose not to cancel. I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy & Terms & Conditions. Charges will appear on credit/debit statements as "Growing Rich W/ Google." Cancel any time at 866-396-5695.
After clicking the "Ship My FREE Kit!" button, the next screen that appears contains the offers for Everyday Legal Forms, Rebate Millionaire and Family Savers Club - these are offers that you simply have to uncheck the box if you are not interested in participated in them. Had Colin simply unchecked the boxes he would never have been enrolled in those particular programs.
I have located Colins's account and have verified that he has contacted customer and his account was resolved as per his request.
If you are another customer that is reading this and you feel that we have failed you in some way please call me directly at 435-773-1795 or email me at [email protected] and I would be happy to address your concerns ASAP.
Sincerely,
Ryan R.
