Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have used Google AdWords in the past with no success.  However, for this past Holiday season, I attempted to work with Google again for my company's e-commerce business. We contacted Google AdWords and was appointed an account rep.  This person claimed to be an expert in Google Adertising and that his team would put together a campaign.  The campaign was created and launched with a small budget.  Google said that they would provide me with $200 worth of ad credit to get me started.

We saw no sales as a result of these expertly created campaigns and my Google Rep (a Google employee) told me to increase my budget.  He offered me one coupon code for $100 on top of the daily spending on Google advertising I was providing.  After two week of no sales, he told me to up my budget again and again.  We are a small company and do not have huge budgets like GM.  But keep increasing your budget.  Google says, "You need more ads and more keywords, you need to spend 3x more money on a daily basis."  Ok, fine, we will. But when will we see some sales? We have a highly branded, well operational, easy to use website with great prices, images, and descriptions.  All the things that Google wants to see.  Keep increasing your daily Budgtet they said. At some point I would have had to sell my home so we could keep increasing our budgets to make Google rich.  Where are the sales?

On the subject of the second coupon code, he provided me with a code that was expired.  The code did not work and he said he couldn't get me another code.  They offered me $200 to get stared but only truely gave $100.  This was misleading. My Google Rep delayed returning my calls until after my bank account was fully charged for all the advertising for the Month.  In my final conversation with him I asked, "what about that second coupon code you promised?" He replied that Google was having a technical glitch for weeks. Are you kidding me?  Google, the world's smartest and most technicall advanced company, can't fix a coupon code glitch after a Month?

Needless to say, our campaign ran for a Month and cost us a small fortune.  We never saw any sales and only helped to increase Google's stock price.  In the end, we feel robbed and cheated. While Google made out like a bandit.
