Grantfundingsearch And IWB Club Unauthorized credit card charges to my account by Grant funding search and IWB club Henderson Internet
Like many others I have been duped by the Grant Funding Search and the IWB club - to date I have been charged $69.95 twice and $29.95 twice. I signed up to receive information on Grants and agreed to pay $1.98 shipping- nothing more.
Today,11 March 2009 I telephoned the IWB club and cancelled my "membership " and received an email confirming this, today I have tried twice to cancel my Grant funding "membership" by telephone, on both occasions the person on the phone(Rhei) could not find any information by my name, area code, phone number, so I went to the website and cancelled by contacting customer service. Now I have to wait for my April credit card bill to see if they are still charging me, and this is the really scary part.
According to my credit card company I can still be charged and they will expect me to pay even though I have called today to dispute these charges. When I asked my credit card company to cancel my number and issue a new one, they told me that was no protection as I can still be charged. This is the really scary part HSBC credit card services will allow fraudulent charges to my account even after I have called them to dispute these charges. This is not the service I expect from a reputable bank.
