Grant Research Guide Grant Instructor Charged $49.50 to my bank account and when I called to dispute the charge after telling their associate on the phone to cancel me they refuse a refund from Las Vegas Nevada
This online company called Grant Research or Grant Instructor, LLC company address is 5348 Vegas Drive Suite 866 Las Vegas, NV 89108 or the second address location on their site is Woodgate Cottage, London Road Danehill, East Sussex RH17 7HS, United Kingdom. Their fraudulent practices is when they advertise a free cd that provides government grant information and the person needs only pay shipping and handling of $1.95. They then hide a $49.50 monthly subscription. You have to cancel within 7 days. An associate from their company calls you. I told the associate when they called to cancel me and I wouldn't be interested.
After the 7 days I was charged $49.50 to my account. When the charge was applied to my account I waited 50 minutes on the phone to contact someone. The person that I reached was very unprofessional, kept cutting me off, and then just hung up on me and refused to refund my monies even though nothing has been provided. The cd never arrived either. And I am presently checking out their online access. As a consumer I am so outraged that my credit is also messed up on my checking and I am working with my bank to hopefully straighten that out.
Upon speaking to the rude person from their company and after she hung up on me I received an email from this company confirming my cancellation. The person who I spoke emailed me from [email protected].
I will be investigating more avenues to have this company shut down as well. If I find any other information out, I will post the information for other consumers to see, who had the same problem with this company. I also will request from the Las Vegas, NV local law enforcement to investigate these individuals for criminal intent and attempt to defraud the general public under false advertising and misleading business practices.
