Grant Resource Network called me on 10/29/13 at 8:06 pm. They had said that I called them looking for a grant.
I don't not remember calling them at all looking for any grants or loans. On my caller ID on my cell phone they came in as Financial us. I tried calling the number back that came in and there was no answer or anything, the call just ends.
They wanted my visa information and I am not sure how they even knew that I had a Visa card. They wanted the expiration date and also the card number. I gave them the information, but I also told them that there were no funds on the card and that I couldn't afford their fee.
They still took money off my card and I will be reporting the incident to my card company saying that I was scammed and requesting a new card because of it. Thankfully I didn't have money on the card, otherwise I am sure that they would have tried to take more. There were an additional 3 attempts to charge $19.95 that I got charged a fee of $1.00 each.
I want you to catch the people who did this to me and any others who may have fallen for this. I will also see if I can canel my membership.
The person that I talked to was a Cindy Corcez and she gave me her license number of 041493 and my confirmation number was 299729. She also told me that I would be receiving my membership information in my email shortly. As of yet I haven't received anything from anyone in my email and they have my correct email address since I verified it with Cindy multiple times.
