Granton Marketing - On Track Marketing Ripoff, dishonest and more! Pleasanton California
I have recently been hired, as with everyone else interviewed, by On Track Marketing. They do business with some big clients and told me that the mother company, Granton Marketing, was a very successful business from Canada.
Because of this I decided to do my own research and found that On Track, nor Granton have legit web pages. I have not worked for the company long enough to know much about them but I have read previous rip-off reports and they depict exactly what that last few days have been like.
Then on top of that the first day I started they told me that EVERY cost related to doing the job would be repaid at the end of the year because of the tax write-off, THEY LIED. Luckily I know several accountants and they informed me that in California you have to spend $5000+ on the job and everything after that is applicable to write off.
In other words you only get money back after you've spent $5000 of your own money. So EVERYTHING you spend on the job is YOUR expense unless you're constantly traveling, and even then its still pretty sketchy.
I would not say that that this is a complete scam but my team leaders have not been honest, and if they are going to lie and mislead you the first day on the job then you can't expect much more in the future.
