I went on-line looking to get a grant so that I could get a bigger house for my husband, son, mother, sister, and aunt to live in because my sister and aunt are homeless and my mother is disabled. I found Grants One Day and ordered the C.D. for $1.99 shipping and handling. I was not told that I could go on-line to look for this info and only found out after my account was charged $94.00. I called to see what was going on and they cancelled my account and agreed to refund my money after I wrote to the customer service billing dept. I did so and they said they cancelled my account but was holding onto my money for 88 days so I could have a chance to look over thier product. They also gave me a link to request my refund if I didn't like what I saw, but the link said that they didn't have my e-mail on file so I couldn't ask for a refund. All areas that they had to apply for a grant went nowhere. There were no links to them. I want my money back and told them so. I now have to call them again, and try to fight this myself. Be very careful of who you order from. Most of them are rip-offs.

yes a scam - and thousands keep falling for it,. THERE ARE NO GRANTS AS STATED - a lot of the grant websites were created in NOV 08 - with the sole purpose of ripping you off. USE SOME COMMON SENSE! Government Grant Scams http://www.consumeraffairs.com/scam_alerts/grant.html Grant Fraud - http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2009/03/grant_scam_ads.html ADVERTISEMENTS from the Federal Trade Commission website: The appearance of ads in media outlets that you recognize - like your local newspaper or radio station - is no guarantee of the legitimacy of the company behind the ad.

I have repeatedly asked for a refund and I am being told that I have to wait for the 3 month period to end before they refund my money. This is not right. We need that money for food.
