Unable to receive refund for cancellation of Extended Warranty from ASC and Gravity Autos

First let me start by expressing my total disappointment with the whole ASC Warranty experience.  Now I purchased a used vehicle from Gravity Autos Roswell, Georgia.  11560 Alpharetta Hwy, 770-255-3939 around Oct 6 2012 and was persuaded to purchase a Vehicle Protection Plan B-12189460 at $2100 now this process went very smoothly and I'm sure this was due to the fact that the dealer was to receive a commission for this warranty sale.  Now fast forward 20 months and I'm now in the process of trying to receive a refund for the unused portion of this warranty and now the real character and integrity of Gravity Auto's is being displayed.  I requested a refund back on July 21, 2014 and have provided all the necessary paperwork requested. 

 

1.             Request made to receive refund

2.             Letter from Finance company stating the car in paid in full and I'm currently in possession of the title.  (                   Which normally take at least 30+ days)

3.             Current mailing address and phone number

4.             Enduring patience

 

Now I have reached out to Mike in Finance at Gravity Autos Roswell on several occasions and he has indicated that I would be receiving this refund shortly but has offered nothing but excuses and apologies. Examples of excuses listed below:

 

1.             The check was sent to the wrong address

2.             They did receive the check

3.             They sent the check back to you guys ACS.

 

Now I'm at my wits end and I'm left sending out emails because Gravity has accused me of being rude and cursing at them which doesn't make sense being I'm trying to be on my best behavior and be on their good side and get my  refund. 

 

I just received a voicemail message from ASC indicated that they reissued this check to be sent to Gravity Monday 8/15/2014.  This has been plenty of time to receive this check in the US mail.  So would you please contact them for me to verify that they are in possession of this check so that I can stop by there and pick it up your help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.  Also please keep in mind that this company Gravity is making a bad name for ASC and its warranty program.  Thanks

 

 

Consumer's Desired Resolution:

This Vehicle Protection Plan was Purchased on 10/6/2012 $2100 and It was cancelled on 07/21/2014 it was determined by ASC that is was 67% used with 33% qualifying for a refund of $693.00.
