I bought th is service/phone for my 90 y/o mother thinking that it would be a great device and  phone company used to Seniors. What a rip-off!  To begin, on the first day she had multiple  phone calls daily from marketers and friends of the previous owner; then when we notified Great Call to block the calls, they said it would be a "few days". After a week it subsided, but never went away.

After a couple of weeks, mum decided she would prefer a land line so we called to discontinue The service.  No problem- but they forgot  to do this and we are being billed for the month of usage anyway because " we don't prorate our bill". My mother was not informed of this...  

And finally, when I called customer service to notify them of the mistake, the remark was made that the date on the bill " was wrong"  not to mention the additional charges for a photo, and a text message  ( mum doesn't even know how to do this ....and no one has sent her any of these items.  Since when is the company always correct and what happened to customer service when you wanted a happy consumer regardless what it took to get?..

dont use use this service at all! It smells!

 Because people like YOU exist. Thats why. YOU expect them to give you your way reguardless if  it will cost SOMEONE else money. YOU expect to not to pay ANYTHING even though you are in a contract. No business will WILLINGLY eat costs to make a customer happy. YOU are already costing them money, and they ARE NOT going to eat any further costs from you or your mum.

Why is it that deadbeats such as yourself ALWAYS fall back on "customer service" when you know you are in the wrong?How does that work?? WHY would you expect a business to do more for you then YOU would do for a stranger?? People like you ALWAYS complain that its a "customer service" issue and they should do whatever it takes to make YOU happy. Point in fact, since you are cancelling the service CONTRACT, that means that you are choosing to NOT BE A CUSTOMER!! How in any stretch of the imagination can you now DEMAND that they uphold YOUR definition of customer service when you ARE NOT A CUSTOMER?!?!

Self-entitled much???? Maybe a bit spoiled because your "mum" let you do as you wish? Either way, youre already going to get hit with a HEFTY ETF so it really doesnt matter WHAT they attempt to do for you. Youre one of those silly little twits who thinks THEY are special and the rules of the world DO NOT apply to them because they are SO SPECIAL. YOU will have scammed yourself. Yet YOU will blame them because they did not tell you about any exit fees. And all because YOU couldnt take a few mins a read.

YOU and your mum have to live with the world, it can completly ignore you both and NOTHING will happen. YOU wont be missed by society. YOU are less then dust to the world. Once you accept this, your life get easier. There is no expectation for the rest of the world to treat you better then you treat others.

Get over it, you screwed yourself. Stop playing the victim because this entire situation is of your own doing. You need to grow up and be a bit more mature in your world view. The world doesnt revolve around YOU. ONLY sociopaths think that way. And trust me you DEFINATLY show all the classic signs of a sociopath.
