Great Escapes Vacation Club Promised Free Gifts, Not Provided Lakeland Florida
We were promised a $100 gas card, a $30 dining card for either Red Lobster or Olive Garden, a $50 visa card, and a free 2 night stay at a Marriott Hotel of our choice if we would attend a sales presentation for Great Escapes Vacation Club.
We attended the sales presentation, and thankfully did not purchase anything from them. We were told that they would mail us our free gifts. A few weeks later we received the $50 visa card, but the gas card, dining card and 2 night stay at a hotel (not necessarily Marriott) were all linked to a company called VIP Travel and required us to send in a $75 deposit. VIP Travel does not give their phone number on the paperwork. We are not sending in a $75 deposit for a "free" hotel stay.
Do not waste your time by going to Great Escapes' sales presentation. They do not give you the free gifts that they promise, and if that is how they treat potential customers, how do they treat the people that actually paid $5000 for their vacation club membership?
