Great Sports, Inc. Deceptive business, sends scooters made in China, with bad batteries, wiring, never gives Certificate of Origin so you can not use bike on road, register it or sell it. Joliet Illinois
On July 8, 2013 ordered a 250cc Scooter from Great Sports, Inc. after 3 months received a bike made in China, had paid up front for a Certificate of origin($24.95) as of July 2, 2014 still haven't received the Certifcate, so I am unable to register it in the state of Pa. can not drive it on the roads, unable to sell it. The bike is poorly made, the original battery was bad, purchased another from Great Sports, Inc. and that too was bad. The wiring for the starter was bad, had to have it towed to bike shop to have a new wiring and new battery installed.
I unfortanuately also ordered a side car kit that took six months to come in and it orginated from Indonesia, the side car kit is a piece of crap and does not fit the scooter. After putting in over $5000 in US dollars plus all the costs associated with bringing in the side car into the US. I am totally disgusted with this company. The company listed on the sidecar does not exist, Tau Tau. The company gives you the run around, with numbers for companies in Washington and California that do not make this type of side car.
There are not directions on how to install the kit. The 250cc Scooter named the Legend, also has a useless radio and speakers, since I can not take it on the road who knows what else is wrong with the bike. I will be filing a complain with the Attorney General's office in the sate of Pa. I have also contacted the Federal Trade Commission as I think these bikes may be illegally made and who knows about the side car. This whole experience has made me sick and I think this company should be investigated I would like all my monies back from this company.
