As you can see the original report was posted over two years ago. I've been a client of GreenGeeks since August 2010 and I have not had any problems with them.
It is a possibility that the customer who originally posted the report didn't completely comprehend the package they were paying for. The reply of the staff member suggests that the customer was using their services incorrectly.
As for the reply stating that they do not discuss such "abuse related matters via telephone for documentation purposes" make complete sense. Not only does it protect them, but it can also help protect you if, for some reason, you take GreenGeeks to court.
GreenGeeks is a wonderful, eco-friendly web hosting company. One of the main requirements for satisfactory services, such as any other web hosting company package, is that you must completely comprehend the services you are receiving so you don't abuse their services. If you don't understand the verbiage used, for it may seem confusing at times, ask someone who knows about the internet industry verbiage to help you understand what you are contemplating to buy.
