GreenGeeks-GreenGeeksLLC Con Artist Scamartist Company Full of Blatant Crooks on the Internet. Do Not Use This Scam Company California Internet
Green Geeks is the Biggest scam company on the internet that I've ever encountered. They are Crooks, Thiefs, Liars and Scam artist so hungry for money because maybe there company is doing so bad that they have to resort to flat right stealing your money. Get this. So I signed up for both webhosting and domain name on their site. They offer a 30 day money back guarantee. Mind you this is "full" money back guarantee. Less then or perhaps a full week in. I decided to cancel my membership with this company. Firstly, I decided I did not want web and domain hosted with the same company. But more over then that. There customer service people online are so unknowledgeable about anything. When I would click on the live chat to ask for the simplest question. I would be told to email support. Anything..was always told to simply email support. Well, after like the fourth time wanting to know how to simply use another software to install wordpress other then the default and ONce again, told to "email support". I became frustrated. So I asked, did Live chat even know anything? I mean....if everything get's routed to "email support". Then why have live chat? What's the purpose of having chat that can't address nor answer the simplest questions? That raised a Big red flag in my head. And I didn't want to be tied down to a Dumb company that claim to be "geeks" but were quite limited in what they really know. So, as stated....After a week in...I decided to cancel my account. Now....I was transferring a domain which I had for over a year with another company to Green Geeks. So, when signing on with this company. The price I paid of 148.20 included the transfer fee. So naturally.
If you're no longer going to use a company and are going to transfer your domain from one company to another...there is and should be no cost for you transferring your domain from the Old company. You pay a transfer fee to the NEW one. So this is how this story gets good! I asked for my domain name to be unlocked so that I could transfer it. I called up Green Geeks on the last day and got assistance in unlocking my domain name. The last thing I said to the guy..I belive his name was Trey, was asking him with assurance and him varifying that my refund would be indeed processed with my full $148.20 refunded back into my account. It was My shock to finally receive my refund in the amount of only $100. First thing I did was email and call the company to find out why on earth my money was not refunded in complete? Listen, to what those flat out Thiefs had the nerve to try to pull as an "attempt" to say that I owed. They had the nerve to say...well, they have a transfer fee of $24.99 that gets applied when people are putting in transfers from their company to another. Which at that point....the only thing that I did was simply have the domain....unlocked. I never transferred it. But, I guess in there Desparate attempts for money...they needed to justify their stealing So badly....they had to Make up something to hide the fact that they flat out STOLE my $48.20 simply because Green Geeks were Crooks.
And another thing to stress once again. There is no such thing for an old company to "charge" a customer a fee to transfer YOUR domain to a new company. You only pay a fee to the NEw company. NOT the old. That is Free!!!!!!!!! Any company that tries to do that is simply Scamming you and trying to EXTORT money from you. Do not Go with a company that would be Sooo desparate to even try to pull that! No Legitimate company Does that! None Whatsoever! So, I called up on a Sunday...Explained the situation to the first Dude that picked up and was Rudely transferred to a voicemail. So then, I called up again and asked why on earth was this company trying to "Steal" my money so bad that they would make up a reason to justify them omit paying me my full refund.....Their answer? I got the phone hung up on me! The Third time I called...I got the Owner himself on the phone Trey. I asked him, why would his company be so desparate for money that they would resort to Stealing people's refund? I expressed how shocked I was to see a company that professes to be "geeks"...smart people.....stoop so low....to flat right steal a losing customers money? His answer? Well, he tried to pull that whole $24.99 fee bullshit again.....Which, uh...you guys...Incase someone (Trey) missed the ball....If that were "truly" the case....How does a "transfer" fee of $24.99 turn into $48.20? Well, I told him...that A- At that point...The only thing that I did was have the domain unlocked and never accually transferred it! Because Infact, I actually ended up signing on with a Different company and registering a completely NEW domain altogether. So this "Exit extortion transfer phantom fee"...which Btw, Once again...Does not exist with an old company that you're leaving. You only pay to the new company! Was simply Phony Ballony! And Bullshit. Their way of Scamming, Robbings, Stealing your money just because they are Soooo desparate and money hungry internet company full of Criminals. So, when He finally saw that he was caught red handed....He blamed it on an "error" that could have happened and "once again".....That "Billing" was the only one to sort out.....Which I thought to myself....hmmm.
Here I have the Owner of the company on the phone....Their offices are not that huge that, should they TRuly wished to correct this "conveinent error"...I would think the person that could easily get that done would be the owner of Green Geeks! I mean, if customer service and their reputation was any value to them....I should have gotten my full refund expedited Pronto! He, Trey...the Business owner himself....would had Make certain to do it himself infact!!! I mean after all....What is $48.20...It's not going to kill him right? Atleast that's what I thought. As well as having the satisifaction of being a Legitimate and Successful company that would "never" need money that badly enough to risk being known as a Scam, fly by nite...company that would need to scam a person for it right? Or atleast, I would think not!! So....My final words of advice to him directly was....If he was so desparate for money....To don't stoop to the level of Being known as a petty thief and Scam company. And do a better Marketing job. Number ONE! If you offer Full 30 day Money back guarantee...That's what you Should Deliver! And better be! No "phony made up clauses or stipulations simply behind it! Full 30 money back gurantee! Which once again, I hadn't even signed on for full week so more then qualified for my full $148.20 money back!!! No omissions! And then. To make up some ridiculous "None existant extortion clause scheme to simply ROBB people just because of losing business....is flat out illegal and despicable! Especially when it did not exist...and Green Geeks Knows it! DO not use a company that would even attempt shady business like that! So needlesss, to say...
Although Green Geeks have been presented with all the facts....They STill have not paid me my $48.20 refund. I contacted Paypal which up until now...even Paypal has not gotten a reply back from them. Thank goodness though....Paypal is going to get me my money. But this Report is warn Anyone of Ever using Green Geeks, Green Geeks LLC for anything. This company is scum! Do not sign up with them For Anything! They are Crooks, INternet predators only out to steal your money....Shady....Scam Artist....Rude and do not have any shame to steal your money! Criminals do that! And that's what Green Geeks are! If you don't heed this report or the others....and end up having them steal your money as well....Blame only yourself! No legitimate company would ever, ever do something so outrageoulsy wrong like that! No sucessful company would ever! Especially a profitable one. Because, for devils sake...it "was" an error. Then I should have received my money ASAP! How is it...even after speaking to the Owner of the company and him admitting that his "Liar extortion scheme" Would not work and Could not work....Did I never get my $48.20 refunded back immediately? .......Welcome to Green Geeks! Beware of Green Geeks....This could be you.
