Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

First, let me start off by saying they are incredibly articulate and professional. Our representative, Heather was thorough and sincere. She believes in the program they push. Nothing wrong with any of this. The problem comes in with how they suck you in thinking it is a loan. Its not. They discuss an interest rate. This is misleading. Its a percentage factor fee. Meaning, that is the amount they charge on the total debt they can compile from you that they have "agreements” with banks. They give you a total, which includes the percentage fee and a monthly payment to make. Sounds like a loan right? But again, its not. They do not put this money in your bank account.

They do not disperse this money right away to your creditors. They ask you to stop paying your bills! To send your credit score in the tank, accept the fact that creditors will start collection calls and trust them... I heard that my credit was destroyed already, whats the big deal? (Not verbatim). Yes I have a lot of debt. Yes, I am only making minimum payments at the moment. However, every creditor is paid on time! If I adjust my lifestyle, curb eating out, buying on impulse and attack my smallest credit card balances one at a time, I can do this myself. Without negatively affecting my credit. I get not everyone is in my position. But tossing my credit in the tank to scam my creditors?

Not to mention my CPA pointed out that "forgiven” debt can be viewed as income. Do not fall for this if you make your payments on time. You can do this without paying a fee. It will be difficult to adjust to living within your means and may take longer than you like but it can be done! This is not a loan. Do not be misled. Know you are trashing your credit. Being in debt is not bad. Shirking the debt you created is sometimes the only way out. I get that. A loan is the best way to consolidate. This is not a good way. Bottom line.
