Greentree Rude northern Mr. William McDowell told me he was from the North and came down south to make sure us lowlifes paid our bills ripoff Saint Paul Minnesota
I have been behind 2 or 3 months several times since my husband and I split up and I was left in charge of the place. A few yrs ago I was told that repo people were out at the trailer wanting to look it over because it was being forclosed on. I never received notice of any kind and at that time I was current on my payments.
I owed July and August of 2006 in August. I electronically paid by check. I had the money in my account at the time but it was on a friday I guess and on Tuesday when the transaction went through I was overdrawn because of some banking problems.
Instead of contacting me at home in the evening like they always do, they ran the check through 2 more times causing me to have $105.00 worth of nsf fees. I don't check my account very often so I wasn't aware of this problem. They kept calling me at work and Never told me about the check. They just said we needed to make arrangements to make Aug. pmnt. I can not talk at work because I work with the public and am on the floor all the time. I told them to call me at home and I'll take care of it. I would forget about it but got no call.
Then 2 nights ago when I got home my mother tolme this man called from greentre and told her they were foreclosing on my property so I had better call him in the morning. I called first thing and talked to the rudest man. He told me I had to pay him $789.00 today or the foreclosere precedings were going to continue. I have been paying on this note since 1994(conseco then) and I have never been talked to like that before. He informed me that I would pay the $789.00 that day or else.
Even he never mentioned the check. He was so rude I told him I wanted to speak to his manager. He told me he was the manager. I told him I was going to hang up and call back and I would gladly pay that amount but not to him.
Sooooooo I did call right back and wanted to speak to Mr. Mcdowells manager. Boy, this guy was even ruder. He told me I had to pay$1184.76 right then or he was sending the foreclosure papers and they would be out at the property within the week. I told him what Mcdowell had said and he said "well he didn't read the that checkcontract before he talked." He told me all he would accept was the $1184.79 now. I asked him "so, if I had sent the $789.00 they would have just not counted that?" He was even ruder.
I finally convinced him to let me pay the $1184.79 on the 9th which will take every thing I have, even though in the past they have always accepted 2 payments a month to catch up. I AM ONLY 2 PAYMENTS BEHIND, hOW CAN THEY FORECLOSE ON ME NOW? I BELIEVE jIM WAS HIS NAME. Sept pmnt isn't even due until the 10th. But he said I had to pay it by western union on the 9th. I don't believe these morons can actually ruin your life just because they control the foreclosure button. It's just not right.
