Greenville Chrysler Aka Four Wheels Autogroup $1700.00 later and all I needed was a new tire!! Greenville Texas
I purchased a 1998 Chrysler Concord from Greenville Chrysler and after I had it a while, I started having some vibrations and popping noises coming from the front of my car as I drove. Soooooo.... I take it in. I tell them that I probably need an alignment and probably 2 new tires on the front, an oil change, and my A/C belts replaced. So they come back and tell me that I need $1060.00 worth of repairs: new belts, new control arm, both inner tie rods, two sleeves, and the alignment. Then after I picked up my car, I still had the vibration. I took it back, and they told me that I needed additional work - ANOTHER $700.00!! I was informed that I needed power steering rack and pinion gear assembly and ANOTHER alignment. OK, fine, I told them to do the work. I pick the car up yet again! And low and behold, my car still has the vibration and popping noise!!! Sooooo, I took it to a local tire shop (where I originally purchased my tires) where they replaced my front passenger side tire and the vibration is gone.
I called them back and they asked me to bring my car back up to the shop, the service manager drove my car and said "You're right, it does have a noise, I'll have to get it up on the rack to look at it and see whats wrong" and I said "I've already paid $1700.00 and the car is still in the same condition it was in when I originally brought it in. And they way I see it, I have spent $1776.00 and only needed $423.35 worth of repairs. So I feel that you owe me $1352.65. I will not be back."
So be wary of any dealings that you have with the service center of this dealership.
