How could you have been the owner when the title was in a womans name? I still have a copy of the title and it is in a womans name. This was done and over with a long time ago, but I will comment on what you have said. First of all the law was broken, so an investigator was assigned to the case. Mr Casamento was who we delt with, so we were not aware that Mr. Wait was involved, although we did have our suspicions. I could have taken this to court and got three times my money back, since it involved odometer fraud, but I am not a greedy person. The investigator told us that Mr. Casamento had been going to auctions and purchasing RV's and selling them on ebay.

WE JUST FOUND THIS SCAM ON THE INTERNET AND ARE PUZZELED. I WAS PRVIOUS OWNER OF THE RV SOLD IN THIS DEAL. KEVIN WAITE AND GREG CASAMENTO CAME TO MY RESIDENCE AND STATED THEY WERE PARTNERS IN CARRIAGES UNLIMITED AND WERE BUYING THE RV FOR RE-SALE ON THERE LOT. MR WAITE NEGOTIATED THE PRICE TO BUY AND PAID US FOR THE RV. HE STATES HE WAS A VICTIM IN THIS SCAM. HOW IS ONE OF THE PURCHASERS OF THIS RV A VICTIM? WE WERE CONTACTED BY DMV TO VERIFY WHO BOUGHT THIS RV. HOW IS CASAMENTO THE SOLE THE BAD GUY IN THIS DEAL? MR. WAITE WAS CLEARLY THE BUYER AND SELLER OF THIS RV AS EVEN SHOWN ON THE EBAY SITE WHERE HE IS SHOWN TAKING ONE OF THE PHOTOS ON EBAY INSIDE THE RV WHERE HE CAN BE SEEN IN REFLEXION OF A MIRROR IN THE COACH. THIS GUY SEEMS LIKE THE CON MAN! JUST WAN'T TO SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT. BOB PARS

I did an internet search and both names of worldwide RV Sales and Carriages Unlimited came up and at the time I did not know Mr. Wait was not involved until he told us that he was not. If you can read, you will see that I did not blame Mr. Wait, but Mr. Casamento has ruined Mr. Wait's reputation and drug him through the mud. (Be careful who you get into business with)!

My name is Erik H and I have known Kevin Wait for 5 years. He wouldn't rip Bill Gates off if he had the chance to. You mentioned his name and his company's name in the incident. That is slander... Worldwide RV ripped you off, not Carriages Unlmtd.

Just as Karen stated my company, Carriages Unlimited, Inc. was not involved in this scam, we were also a victim of Greg helping himself to our company paperwork. As of June 24, 2006, Carriages Unlimited, Inc. is no longer associated with Worldwide RV Sales, John Greg Casamento or Brenda Casamento in any manner whatsoever. We are a reputable company that has been in business since 1997 with no complaints against us. Thank you Karen and Ryan for clearing my name and my company name. Sorry for your inconvenience!

I am very grateful that I finally got my refund without going to court! I would like to thank the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles for their work in helping resovle this problem. I would also like to mention that Mr. Kevin Wait did not have anything to do with the scam, and as of the end of June, he and Mr. Casamento will no longer be partners. Mr. Wait said that Mr. Casamento went behind his back and made the transaction without his knowledge. It was also discovered that Mr. Casamento was posing as a dealer, when in fact he did not even have a license. Mr. Casamento changed the name that he was operating under in an attempt to conceal his identity, but he was banned from the internet anyway. I do not blame Carriages Unlimited or Mr. Wait for this scam, but I do blame Mr. Casamento and his wife Brenda, since they are the ones that made the transaction. Karen Hofmeister

We had to sell the RV that had the odometer fraud, since we did not know what else to do with it. We could not drive it home, so we traded it, but all the dealership that we traded at could give us was a mini van that was priced at four thousand, eight hundred dollars. so we still lost ten thousand, six hundred forty nine dollars, that includes two thousand dollars, in expenses for flying down to Florida, with other expenses.
