I need to begin by emphasizing that this is not the typical, ex employee bad feeling post, I consider myself well grounds having served in the military for 10 years including special forces, airborne and Pathfinder. This guy is to be avoided at all costs, after growing his business for him beyond his wildest dreams we ended our affiliation due to me being unwilling to walk out of my son's birthday party to pick up a check from a customer at 8 pm. We were on stop with suppliers so he needed the funds desperately, this was the second time he insisted I walk out of one of my childrens birthday parties to pick up money for him. This time I said in no uncertain terms, I'm done His company was producing less than 20% of the business I generated through 80 plus hour work weeks, he insisted on hiring crews just to get projects done despite my constant concerns that the crews he hired were unskilled...
Eventually I left, he owes me $7000 in unpaid commission and unfortunately I will never see that money. He uses residential addresses for the company location and the work they install would genuinely fail any inspection, but he will tell you the work is good. He even tells LP smartside technician that the technician is wrong!!! Narcissistic is an understatement. I decided to start my own business after so many of the Customer told me I should, as they won't even let Greg on their property. I have a list as long as my arm of people he has ripped off, from suppliers to installers The crews are genuine guys, but nowhere near as skilled as they should be, he has walked away and s**t companies down in the past and will do so again.. it's not if, just when.. I want to reiterate, this isn't driven by anything other than a be warned ......
