Below is a copy of the email I sent to them from their website.

Hello.

Just a recent update on how my automobile has been doing

since I bought it from Gresham Toyota in Feb. of 1996. I

traded in a '85 Camry that had approx. 188,000 miles for a

'95 Geo Prizm with already 21,000 miles on it. I just had

the extended warranty expire just earlier this year. The

car ran fine up to about Sept of last year when the

transmission went out on it along with the drivelines with

only 61,000 miles.

I still have all the paperwork from the shops to prove it. The extended warrantee covered almost all of it---I just paid about $440 out of my own pocket for misc. parts that weren't covered under the extended warrantee. Anyway, about 4 months ago, I was in Vancouver, BC and when I went to make a U-turn, the

differential popped out and may have cracked the underside

of the car. It has been knocking severely loud whenever I

try to drive the vehicle, thus making it a safety hazard

now. Naturally, all these late problems arise JUST after

the warrantee expired!!--try within a thousand miles approx.

of it. I have taken the thing to several shops to get

estimates on it and have been told the same diagnosis with

the car and price estimate of about $750-1300 to repair it.

I am attempting to find a "lemon-law" attorney who can help

me get the vehicle fixed as it has affected my

transportation to my employement.

You can rest assured, Gresham Toyota will NOT receive good

recommendations from me!

You took me once and if I can have any say in it, you won't

be able to do so to any family, friends or aquaintances I

have!

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to send you this email

as I am sure if I was to call you to let you know about

problems with the car, I would get a run-around again just

as the first time I had major problems with it and had to

take the car all over the place to have it looked at. The

first time I had the major problems with it, it took me

about a month or over it to even have a Chevrolet or Toyota

dealer look at it saying that they couldn't warrant looking

at it because they weren't the ones that sold me the

warrantee. I took it to dealers in Beaverton, Hillsboro,

Milwaukie and of course, Gresham. I had less a run-around

playing musical chairs when I was a kid!!

Signed, not a repeat buyer again,

Jodi L. Saloga
