I had been searching web sites regarding working from home on my computer to earn money since I was between jobs. I received an unsolicited email and since this said "Google" I assumed it was legit. It also said I would not be charged until I received a kit and authorized payment.

On Monday 12/10/07 I obtained a printout of my checking account and found a "Pre-Authorized Debit" in the amount of $29.95. The teller told me to call back Tuesday 12/11/07 and she would have the information about the company that posted the debit.

I called back 12/11/07 and obtained the name "Growing Rich with Google" and 866-396-5695 in order to contact this company. The gentleman who answered gave me his name as Nick and his employee # 0504737 - he refused to state his last name. He tried to pitch me a line about the company.

At that time I told him I was not interested, demanded a refund and to desist from debiting my account in the future. He stated my account would be refunded within 3 to 5 business days and gave me a refund #.

He then told me that another company "Grand Master" would also be debiting my account and gave me their # 800-418-9320. Grand Master also goes by "Network Agenda" (I'd say they have an "Agenda!). Anyway, the gentlman who answered was named Nick. I informed Nick I did not authorize this company to debit my account and was not interested in their services. Nick then gave me a cancelllation# and said my account would not be debited.

My concern is the underhanded way in which these companies operate. I NEVER authorized them to debit my account. When I reached them I simply told them I was not interested, I had a job now, and to not ever debit my account in the future. We shall see what happens by Friday Dec. 14 at the latest.

I apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the services that Terri Jo has been receiving from our company. There are no commitments with the free product. However, there is a free trial period to the membership website and 2 bonus programs that accompany the free CD order and we do our best to disclose this as it is stated 4 times throughout the ordering process - on the sales page, the order page, the confirmation page and in the confirmation/thank you email, it is then also explained in the 1st paragraph of the Terms and Conditions of the offer. The trial periods are free for 7-30 days depending on which bonuses apply and we would not have charged Terri Jo had she canceled during the trial period. It is not our desire to bill clients who do not want the membership or bonus programs after the free trial offers end. To address Terri Jo's statement 'My concern is the underhanded way in which these companies operate.' - There have not been any unauthorized charges, as the services are part of ordering the CD and Terri Jo would have known this had she read any of the pages that she viewed when placing her order. I have verified that Terri Jo has contacted customer service and she did receive a courtesy refund of $29.95. I have also verified that her bonus programs have been canceled as she requested. If you are another customer reading this and you need to contact customer service, the number is 866-396-5695. They are available to assist you Monday-Friday 9 am - 9 pm Eastern Time. There you will find a happy, helpful agent waiting to assist you with your account. If our support staff fails to offer the quality and professionalism that we expect them to provide then I would personally like to know about it so that I can resolve the issue in-house so that it doesn't continue to happen. I also guarantee to personally see to it that anyone who has had a negative experience with our staff or company is satisfied.
