Grupo Cerra Cerra Perfumes Company promised to send name brand perfumes, but sent unknown perfumes that were pure alcohol and had no fragrance. All smelled the same, terrible. La Puente, California
My wife, a spanish speaker, saw the advertisement for Cerra Perfumes (i..e. Grupo Cerra) on UniVision, a spanish speaking TV station. She wanted to order the perfumes and then sell them for a profit. I then ordered the perfumes, 24 bottles in a box, and paid $288.00 by money order.
After the perfumes arrived bu UPS, the box contained none of the name brands that were promised to her per the phone representative or the catalog. As she sampled a few of them, she smelled that they were just pure alcohol and had no fragrance. In fact they smelled terrible, far worst than just cheap perfume. They were completely unusable, an unabashed rip-off.
After discovering that she had received unusable merchandise, she contacted the company by phone for a reimbursement and was told that someone from customer service would call her, but no one ever did. The customer service number itself does not even accept messages, it has a recording that says 'no more messages are accepted'. Since the company does not offer any resolution and has performed a complete rip-off, I am writing to you for a possible resolution in this matter.
