GSA Managment/Micheal Roberts Got a Call from 310-693-5740 stating that I was to be served a summons tomorrow, Calle the 777 number they provided. Spoke with a Micheal Roberts, whom was very rude and argumentative, Stated i owed a payday loan form 4 years ago for over $1800. He stated I would be served and if i wanted to settle right now then I could do a one lump sum or 4 payments. Texas
I Got a Call from 310-310-693-5740 stating that I was to be served a summons tomorrow. They gave me the number 877-214-1813 to call. The man, Michael Roberts, Already had all of my info (Social security number and Current address) . He stated that i owed over $1800 for a payday loan from 4 years ago).
He stated that I provided false bank information to get the loan and that the company could not retrieve funds. I have been with my same bank for over 5 years. I called back, he kept putting me on hold for long periods of time. I requested info (Date of loan, place of loan, amount of loan). He gave me a fax number for my legal rep to fax info to. Michael Roberts, was very short and rude with me.
After the Coversation with Michael Roberts, I went to the local Police station and there had been a nation wide scam report put out on certain companies for trying to collect money from individuals. They are claiming to have debts over 2 years old and are giving customers options to settle before summons are served.
I have never heard of this. Legally if the court has a docket for you to be served papers...there is nothing you can do about it!!! So for Michael Roberts, to offer me to settle to prevent further legal actions I know for a fact this cant be true!
