I joined Duran Duran Music at www.duranduranmusic.com, run by GSG Entertainment last year. We were promised things not delivered. For instance, at first, they told us we were guaranteed part of the top 10% in front of the venue. People were joining for the presale and instead of getting in front, they were getting last row. That's if you were even lucky to get tickets. We were told it would be taken care of this tour. However, the same thing is happening. People are still getting last row seats.
Also, we were promised things if we joined, like exclusive downloads and merchandise. No downloads, and no exclusive merchandise.
They are also charging people $300-$350 to sit in front. Seems high, especially since other bands that are bigger charge less.
True they offer a nice message board, but that's not what the fee was for. However, the message board consists of threads devoted to members, including one who works for GSG Entertainment, by the name of Bunnyfett.
All this for $35 a year. I am not joining again.
