I offered Seller $1,500 inclusive of tax and shipping to 4 cities away, on this guitar that was on EBAY, Item # 3738999334. Seller accepted. I called them on 7-31-04 and remitted payment via my credit card. The guy I spoke with on the phone wanted to charge me more tax and shipping than we agreed on. After arguing with him for 1/2 hour, I gave them a higher payment of $1590. Then I checked the auction and it was still running, I contacted the seller and told him that I was going to close the auction via buy it now, because I had already paid for it.

I sincerely thought he was going to lower the BIN price to coincide. 10 hours later, thy contacted me with the above email asking me to explain why I had purchased it through the auction. I did explain that is the right way of doing things on EBAY, otherwise he would be circumventing ebay in the process and that is not right. I believe EBAY deserves their fees just for the protection factor, alone.

They did not ship the guitar. I called last Thursday 8-06-04 and they said they did not ship it, sorry for the delay and it would be shipped on friday. I called again on Mnday 8-09-04 and they said the guitar is still there, I spoke with Don, the Manager, he said the guitar would stay there until the owner, David Hibbs ok'ed it to go, but he was not really happy with the deal his employees made. I called and left David Hibbs a Message, No reply.

I called the next day; Same Story. I called the following day, extremely aggravated and told them, I would report them to the BBB and contact the police dept. The manager, Don, said do whatever you need to do, but you cannot pick up the guitar nor will they send it without the owner's approval and hung up the phone on me. Shipping time in between same state cities is 1 day via UPS. They overcharged me for 90 and still will not ship the guiatr. I paid on 7-31-04 at 4:30 pm. The EBAY complaint, I filed, they did respond to, asking for even more $$$, yet they will not respond to me, call me, email me, nothing. They have not refunded my $$$ from my credit card and they will not ship the guitar.

These people are Cowardly Thieves, especially with the Bait ans Switch Tactics they used. Speaking of the Bait and Switch, posted on all their websites are all these upper end guitars, $1,000 and more, yet when I went to their store before, they did not have any of the hundreds of guitars and could order them.

This is an extremely deceptive guitar buying experience. To actually think something is paid for and shipped and it never comes and they do not tell you why or refund your money. I believe that they did all this, because they really did not want me to purchase it ON EBAY and they are just waiting to leave a negative mark on EBAY after I give up, trying to get the guitar that they promised me sent to me.

That's terrible. Please beware and do not deal with these Cowards.

This person received a full refund the same day they ordered from us....Here's our response to their claim we ripped them off.....This customer tried to buy a guitar we had on ebay, the statment about charging 6% sales tax if the guitar was delivered in Florida was in the ebay auction, and is also the law in this state. This customer harassed us to death about the purchase and was very threatening. We refused to sell him the guitar unless he paid sales tax. He insisted he did not have to pay sales tax, so we refunded his money the same day and sold the guitar to another buyer who agreed to pay sales tax. All of the claims this customer is making are false and slanderous. We have documented email to and from him to back this up.
