Purchased home new at the very end of 2001. We have had several people examine the leaking roof and give us their opinion. This includes my insurance company. After the bad rains this year in the area, I hired GuyRoofingService.com of Memphis Tennessee to replace some pipe boots and to stop the leaks around the chimney which was ruining the bathroom below. We waited for heavy rains to check the repair for leaks. The roof continued to leak. The roofer agreed to come out but decided to trash my phone calls and E-mails. The BBB in the Memphis Tn area also closed my case, saying that since he had offered me $200, that was good enough. I didn't have a chance to counter offer. The BBB just said: "Case Closed". Don't use this roofer, as he talked on the Web about his good warranty, but said I had no warranty.Guy Roofing stated that I needed a roof and that he didn't warrant a patch job. My insurance company said that they would pay for no roof. My family would not be going through any of this if the contractor who built my home "Brad Rainey Homes" of Germantown Tn, had properly repaired any roofing leaks that I complained about when we first purchased the home in 2002. Brad Rainey Homes gave us a lousy one year warranty, at which time his roofers also came over and made repairs till the warranty expired. Brad Rainey Homes is a member of some powerful organizations which wrote me off. Rainey's people aren't gonna hurt one of their own. I am only a home owner. Guy Roofing Services is just one of the latest contractors to do poor repairs and use the BBB to keep his A rating. Don't have any dealings with Brad Rainey Homes of Germantown Tn or GuyRoofingService.com. This is a good lesson for anyone who buys a home or uses a contractor. Don't trust the BBB. Make sure you have long warranties in writing. The right thing is usually done after a lawsuit is filed.

Do you want to get even, then this is what you do. first you find your local deptartment of justice and file a formal complaint, then go to the BBB and file a complaint with them. If that does not get this clown to make repair, then you get the gun and go hunting
