Uh huh... this one sounds shady.
You claim that you never actually got to use their restroom. Obviously, this could be seen on their daily surveillance tapes. Why didn't you ask them to review them? If I was being falsely accused of a crime, I'd fight a little bit harder for them to prove it than you did. They apparently had some concrete piece of evidence for them to throw you out of the store like that. (i.e the store's video or a witness)
My guess is that you did it. You're definitely leaving out some detail here. NO business would risk a lawsuit on a guess that someone did something illegal. You got caught, and you're lucky that they didn't get the cops involved.
P.S: The "Lucifer character"? What is that all about? So, what, you're a Satanist? If you are, you got what you deserved.

HOW CONVENIENT THAT THEY WOULD ACCUSE YOU OF TAGGING THE BATHROOM JUST WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR THEM TO MAKE YOU AN OFFER FOR YOUR MOVIES?
TO GET OUT OF PAYING YOU FOR YOUR MOVIES, WHICH THEY WOULD THEN CLAIM WERE ALREADY IN THEIR INVENTORY AND CHEAT YOU OUT OF ANY MONEY AT ALL?
AND, WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT, YOU HAVE NO WAY TO PROVE THAT THEY WERE YOUR MOVIES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM IN THERE AND LET THEM OUT OF YOUR EYESIGHT.
YOU MAYBE SHOULD HAVE GONE WITH A WITNESS. SOMEONE WHO COULD HAVE STAYED WITH THE MOVIES AND WATCHED WHILE YOU USED THE REST ROOM.
I HOPE YOU AREN'T HUFFING SPRAY PAINT. IT LEAVES A VERY STRONG ODOR BEHIND AND IF YOU SPRAY PAINTED BATHROOMS, THE EMPLOYEES WOULD BE ON IT RIGHT AWAY. IF THEY FOUND THE PAINT CAN ---DUDE, YOU WERE SO BUSTED!
WHEN WERE YOU ASKING FOR BOOKS ABOUT LUCIFER? I THOUGHT YOU CAME IN TO SELL SOME OF YOUR MOVIES.
HALF-PRICE BOOKS IS A GOOD PLACE TO STAY AWAY FROM.
IF THEY RIPPED YOU OFF ON THE PRICE OF YOUR MOVIES, YOU ARE THE ONE THAT SHOULD GO AFTER THEM AND GET THE COPS BUT YOU WOULD HAVE TO PROVE THAT THEY WERE YOUR MOVIES AND NOT TOO MANY PEOPLE SAVE THEIR RECEIPTS.
STAY OUT OF THAT PLACE.

I feel your pride was hurt more than anything else. Most businesses have the right to refuse service. Half Price Books employees are interested in different things/ideas so discrimination in this case may not relevant. If this truly bothered you, you should have taken it up with corporate and explained your issue. Also, was there more to this than you described? From what I've understood we do not speculate when individuals are banned. ITS BAD FOR BUSINESS.
