Complaint Review: Haradin Ishmilie - Lantana Florida

In 2007, Dino owned a realtor office and my husband and I owned our house outright.  We went to him asking about a loan, and we had paperwork through a hard lender. So we went to ask him about what some of the paperwork meant.  He had a Pizza Parlor next to his real estate office. Suddenly, he asked us to invest in a property with him, and said that in "one year we would be hugging and kissing him", because we would have a return of $100,000 dollars.

He told us no matter if the apartments were rented out or not, our $850.00 mortgage would be paid as well as all our bills, and in one year our house would be paid off.

It is now 2013,  and our house has not been paid off.  He said he is no longer going to pay for our home.  Now my husband and I stand to lose everything, while our money "built his bar in his restaurant", he called us every day asking if the check came in and was our "best friend", once he got the $80,000 he and his wife never called.

I did more research on him and found out that he had taken two loans out on the property that we are supposed to be "partners in".  One in the range of $230,000 and the other in $350,000.  My husband and I have nothing and just want our house back.

He also had an illegal notary, which we later found out, and all of the paperwork is fudged.  In the first couple of years we (my husband and I) would have horrible fights with him.  He placed a gun to the back of my husbands head three times, came over to our house in the past with his gun screaming he was going to shoot my husband....  We have all the paperwork for this transaction, even one with his signature where he told us if he misses one payment we will own Water Way, one of the condos he owns.

He is a felon.  I didn't think they were allowed to carry guns.

 Dino actually had the gall to act as though we were just going to move out of the house and he and his wife were going to move in and have our pets and everything, while my husband and I move into Water Way.  We just bought the house in 2007.

He scammed us good, and I am sure we are not the only one's he has done this to.  I just got out of school for Medical Assistant and have been unable to find a job anywhere because I do not have experience.  My husband just found a job, until then he did handyman work for Dino as well as handyman work for customers in our neighborhood.

Every time his wife see's my husband or I in the store she acts as though she has seen a ghost. She should feel that way.  After all, she certainly enjoyed spending our money. 

They are both driving around in brand new cars every day....  A Porche, he has a nice big Chevy Tahoe, a Corvette and a Beamer,  and now he has just opened a new "Lantana Pizza II" in Manalapan, FL.   When I asked him what about paying off our house (when he told me he became partners to open Lantana Pizza II), he told me to go F myself.   He has other properties as well.  My husband and I have been fighting over this ever since we got involved with this jerk.

He lies like a rug, is a complete crook, and with all of the foreclosures going on, I would think this would be frowned upon, that he can just let us loose our house.  Sociopaths like this really do not deserve there freedom, when they just don't care about what they do to others to get what they want.

We have documented proof of this transaction.  Our lives have been complete hell since we got involved with this character.  I understand how the victims of Bernie Madhoff feel, though we are not millionaires, we stand to lose all while he lives off the fat of the land.
