After having placed one order and received the shipment, I was surprised to receive ANOTHER package a day or two later. It contained product I have NOT ordered.

I have called the comapny and talked to a rude man who only gave the name of "Matt" (refused to give me his full name) who has refused to retrieve the merchandise and issue a full refund. Instead, he has insisted I have to pay for the shipping (BOTH directions) in quite apparent attempt to persuade me to keep the package, because the double shipping would cost me a substantial part of the entire amount. We ended up in a shouting match on the phone.

BUYER BEWARE - do not EVER give these people your credit card number or you are in for some nasty surprises! Now I had to involve my bank in getting me my money back, file complaints with the FTC and CT Attorney General, and do all kinds of things just to get my money back.

Interestingly enough, a mere few days later their web site sports this note: "Attention Shoppers: In order to provide continued excellent customer service and a superior online buying experience, HardcoreCooling.com will be upgrading its systems and will therefore be closed until Friday, 6/18."

Perhaps they got so many complaints they had to shut it down for a while? As I said, go elsewhere with your purchases, do NOT give these people your credit card number.

This customer contacted us stating that he received a package that did not belong to him. He said he placed one order with our company and that this package was sent in error. Now we would have taken the package back no questions asked and refunded him if this was done in error or if there was a fraudulent issue. However, we looked up his account and sure enough we saw two orders. Both orders included the exact same information and were verified. There was no reason not to process the second order as we didn't receive any e-mails or calls about the order. This customer claims that he did not place the order. We explained to him that the order was legit and we processed it accordingly. As a sign of good measure, we said, we would be willing to take the package back and refund him the full amount of the items without a restocking fee. He would only be responsible for the shipping cost which would end up costing him probably about $15-20. The customer than blew up at us and claimed that we were at fault and that we are obligated to refund him entirely for all costs. Our company is legitimate and honest and we have proven so. We gave this customer a fair option and he threw it in our face and now is badmouthing us all over the internet. We did absolutely nothing wrong. We hope if you read this you will see the truth.
