Well, I guess I can join the group of people who have been ripped off by Harris Digital Publishing Co. I subscribed to their Net Detective On line. I was able to access it one time and then nothing. Thinking the first order didn't go through I subscribed and paid the $29.95 a second time. Same scenario. Each time I tried to access the site with user's name and password, I received a statement, "invalid user and password. This even though my user's name is my own email address and the password is a bunch of letters and numbers they issue to you. I tried many times to access my "accounts." Still nothing. I then contacted the Customer Support site. Still nothing but a bunch of suggestions that either didn't work or made no sense. So here I sit with two credit cards payments that will show up on next month's billing and no possible way to use Net Detective On Line. I have also subscribed to their Genealogy Detective. Again nothing of value on this site either when I can access it. This is not the first time I have been ripped of by this company. A little over a year ago I subscribed to one of their other high pitch networks, am at a loss at this time as to name. This one did not work. I requested a refund, no refund. This even though they state that there is a 90 days guarantee period. Yes 90 days that they guarantee to keep your money and run. I hope that something can be done to help all of us recover our money. It is a shame that the public puts so much trust into a company only to be shafted. The first time I was scammed I thought, "shame on them." The second time, "Shame on Me. Thank you. I plan on letting my friends know of the the deceitful practice this company is notorious for.

I don't know you people are having so many problems with HDP's products and Net Detective. I've been a Net Detective customer since last September, and I'm a satisfied customer. And NO, I'm not an HDP employee. I recently got my free upgrade to their new Online Net Detective Pro, and it's working fine for me. I've also had NO trouble getting a timely response back from Customer Support which was always courteous and very professional, whenever I experienced a problem or had a question. I too experienced a similar same username & password issue myself, but when I reported it to HDP support, they emailed me back very promptly and fixed the problem. They were having a server glitch that particular day, which can happen to any web server.
