I've been going to Hasley canyon Dental for about 2 years now and now I have finally switched to a dentist that will take my insurance instead of my money. The first time we went there my wife had to have her wisdom teeth removed so they offered us DSY (BASICALLY A DENTAL LOAN COMPANY). We got approved and paid off what the insurance didn't cover. But ever since then every procedure, filling, cleaning, etc. has been costing us from hundreds to thousands of dollars.

The last straw was about 2 months ago when I took my 4 year old son there to get some cavities filled. As the dentist was working on them he noticed some more cavities in his mouth and I asked him aren't you going to fill them now. He said no they can wait just make another appointment.

Just about 2 weeks ago my son was complaining of a tooth ache and I looked in his mouth and saw a big gapping hole in his tooth. I told my wife that we are not going back to Hasley Canyon Dental because we can't afford the work. So we called my insurance and switched denist and to my suprise the other dentist took my insurance and it didn't cost me a thing. But my son was so jumpy and was scared to get the numbing shot. The other dentist also said now my son has to have baby root canal and he noticed other holes in his back teeth and because he was to jumpy he had to refer us to a pediadontist.

I am now trying to pay off over a thousand dollar loan because Hasley dental wanted my money instead of refering us to another dentist that would take my insurance. Also my son was suffering from pain that he didn't have to go though if the dentist at Hasley canyon Dental was thinking about my son well being instead of his own wallet.

I aslo had a conversation with the front desk secretary about the high turn over rate they had of dentists. She said to me that the dentists they have had aren't making enough money because people out here are always questioning them about the costs of the procedures and the last dentist they had has another practice in Los Angleles and the people that go there are mostly spanish speaking and don't ask any questions about why certain procedures cost so much and they mostly pay in cash.
