Mr. Jones worked for Hawley Transport between the dates of 04/23/2012 - Terminated 04/26/2012.
During his illustrious carrier totaling 3 days, Mr. Jones was able to miss all of his pickup and delivery
appointments. 1st. - Documents will show Mr. Jones took a $100.00 cash advance before even picking up his first load. Mr. Jones was dispatched to pick up a pre-loaded trailer in Unicoi, TN. the morning of 04/23/2012 and deliver it the next day to Rayne, LA. at 9:00 am. "Central Time". Mr. Jones left terminal around 9:00 am. the morning of Monday / 04/23/2012 / then immediately drove one mile down the street to the "Time-Out Truck Stop" and took his $75.00 cash advance. (see settlement sheet). At approximately 2:00 pm. that afternoon shipper (Unicoi, TN.) calls dispatch to report driver has NOT arrived to pickup trailer destined to deliver the next morning in Rayne, LA. Driver was unaccounted for for over 5 hours. Mr. Jones did not return phone calls that day! Mr. Jones has now under his own responsibility places himself in a situation that will legally prevent him from delivering his load on time as schedule!
The morning of Tuesday - 04/24/2012 customer in Rayne, LA. calls dispatch at 10:00 am (Central) requesting location of driver and load. Customer was angry because this particular load consisted of tires and required a crew of 4 to 5 men to unload. Dispatch immediately started calling Mr. Jones. After several phone calls Mr. Jones answers his phone and reports that his still over 150 miles away from customer. First load out and fails to fulfill responsibilities and reports no difficulties.
2nd. - No reports were ever made by Mr. Jones or any other driver working for Hawley Transport about any thefts being C.B Radios or any personal or company property have ever been stolen. I challenge this claim!
3rd. - Canceled paycheck #15550 dated 05/04/2012 in the amount of $399.79 will prove Mr. Jones was paid. He obviously didn't inform his wife?(see copy of canceled check)
4th. - Claims of running truck out of fuel and paying for a chain. Dispatch has no record of this event. If the events claimed are true, Mr. Jones more than likely chose NOT to report this incident due to the trouble he had already created. This is just a brief snapshot of the events that led to the termination of Mr. Jones. If I had actually taken the time to detail all Mr. Jones indiscretions it would be literally impossible to do in this venue. For the record I will be seeking legal counsel concerning these untruthful and vicious accusations.
