Back in July of 2010 I was offered a free heart scan by a vendor at a neighborhood fest. An appointment was set up immediately, after arriving at their office in Arlington Hts.I was approached by one of their employees who brought me into a room and explained their services and made us watch a video showing how important these scans are which were not free! Anyway afterwords another person walked in "Larry Geer" now he starts his sales pitch! and although the cost was not affordable for my live in boyfriend and I, his tactics convinced me not to put a price on my health especially after just losing my father to Heart disease as well as my grandmother so I know it runs in my family and it scares me!

So although I really couldn't afford it they offered a lower rate and stated they could also put me on a payment plan which would lock me in a contract and allow me to come in yearly for a full body scan as well as other screenings for the the next 10 years. The total amount of this contract was $1,995.00 plus an additional $149 membership fee due every year. Well initially they asked for $199.50 + $149 and then put me on a payment plan for the balance of $1,795.50 which after finance charges of 13.99% would have been $2,208.86. Okay now a few days later I receive a call from their office stating they could save me a substantial amount of money if agree to pay it in full but I had to give them an answer in the next 24hrs.

the savings was the interest plus an I think an additional $200 from the original amount anyway needless to say I scraped the money up and payed, afterwards I felt something was not right but ignored my feelings! Anyway now I've learned that this company is no longer in business after trying to contact to set up my next appointment. Since then I have also read all the complaints and information on the law suites that have been placed against this company and I don't know what to do on my end. I also emailed the Illinois Attorneys General office when I first learned about all this but never got any response!....Need Help!
