Hi all. Just to let you know that if you paid all the money you owed to heilig meyers, or to the master trust. They now owe you a refund on the insurance, unemployment insurance, and any warranties that went along with your contract. The warranties were terminated when they shut the doors. They lost over half of the paperwork showing what all you paid for, but they didn't loose your names or how much you owed..LOL So if you have your contracts you need to make copies highlight the excess charges and send it registered mail demanding your refunds!!

I have also tried to solve some solutions with Heilig-Meyers Master Trust from Florida. I pulled up a number of searches and heard that OSI/Heilig-Meyers was bankrupt. I found a number to OSI/Heilig-Meyers Master Trust. I don't know if it will help you all resolve your matters but anything will help when it comes to credit. The phone number is (800)-425-0006. They are open from M-F 8-5pm. I hope this info helps because I needed this info to fix my own credit. I tried to correct information on my report to buy a house but nothing was available and a lot of dead ends. I do know that a number of credit collection agencies picked up where HM left off. Good luck in trying to resolve your matters.

I too had an account with Helig Myers in Lynchburg,VA and understand your frustrations with the payments. I finally contacted the credit bureau agencies and disputed the account stating that payments could not be made, no one to contact and since the company is now out of business to remove that item from the credit report. It was finally removed after their investigation. Be persistent and keep all the paperwork involved. I have seen "past credit issues" pop up again years later and you need this to resolve it. Hope this helps.
