Hello Totem Received a quote to sell them my phone and was never paid! Internet, California
In early August saw the companies commercial for buying used cellphones. I went on line on August 11th, filled out the electronic form and was told based on my information that i would be paid $135. Approximately 10 days later i received the mailing packet and immediatley sent my phone to them and never hear anything from them.
Apprximatery 3 weeks later i called and was told they only received my package a few days earlier and they were checking it to see if indeed i was entitled to $135. On September 18th i received an email from them saying they were reducing it to $125. and all i needed to do was elect how i wanted to receive it. I elected to receive a check and on September 20th received aa congratulatory email letting me know the check was sent.
It's almost a month later and i never recieved the check and what is even m ore unsettling is that i've tried calling several times to the 800 number and was told the mailbox was full. I also emailed several times during the past month and have heard nothing.
i could careless about the money, i just think this company is a totel scam!
