Complaint Review: Hendricks Chevrolet - Georgia

I took my new Silverado to Rick Hendricks Chevrolet in Duluth Ga to have the oil changed. when it was done they parked it next to another vehicle so close you couldnt walk between them. They folded the passenger mirror back so they could get it that close. I got in  truck pulled it forward, got out to fix mirror and saw where truck had been wrecked. The front passenger door was damaged So bad it would have to be replaced. I left it right where it was and got the service manager. All he said was we will fix it, and we don't have a body shop here so you'll have to take it to Buford Ga. Not one apology from anyone at that location. The don't even offer to take it. So I take it to the Hendricks dealership in Buford.

The body shop manager there was great. He apologized to me several times. I was given a used piece of crap to drive until my truck was repaired. They did their very best to match the paint but you could tell it did not match. I called Hendricks in Duluth where it had been damaged and told them it did not match and had concerns it would affect the trucks trade in value. They didn't give a crap. I have purchase 7 vehicles from this location in the past 10 years and they didn't give a crap. i liked working with the body shop manager in Buford enough I decided to take all my trucks there to be serviced. I own 6 Silverado's. The first two times I had a oil change there when I got home they leaked oil staining my

driveway. I was told they where having a problem with the oil filters. Then I take my new truck to have it serviced. Get it home and it's leaking oil. I take it back again and was told they had installed the wrong oil filter. They installed another filter and told me they added a 1/2 quart of oil. I left and made it less than two mile when some started boiling out from the grill, hood and fender wells. Then the engine started knocking.  i had bought this truck for my wife to drive, she picked it out, it was a diamond white and was a very pretty truck. She loved that truck. My wife and I went back to Hendricks and told them we wanted another new truck just like the one they ruined.  They refused to do anything until I

contacted Chevrolet Who offered us money to put towards the purchase of a 2016 Silverado. Then it get even worse. Hendricks refused to help us in any way to get the truck we wanted. We ended up with the ugliest truck I have ever owned. Wrong color. They took parts off my old truck, bed rails, side rails & bed liner and put on the brand new truck.  They had to order the truck from out of state so we had to wait for it to get there and see it for the first time. I told them I hated it and that it was a ugly truck. My wife finally made me agree to take it anyway. But they didn't want us at there dealership while they swapped part so they said they would deliver it to our house. We never got to even drive the new

truck until it was delivered. I told my wife I still hated the truck and didn't want it. She heard me telling family members what I thought about her new truck. And was told to quit, live with it. I refuse to even ride in it. But today she convinced me to drive it. Big mistake. It's not just ugly, it's a dog, engine is a V8 and has less power than a V6 engine. when you step on the gas the engine stalls for a couple seconds throwing you forward. I told my wife I would never ever get back in her truck for any reason. I will not take it to be serviced. I will not wash it. Which I've done all these things for her for 39

years. I want anymore. I wiil not have anything to do with it. So thanks to Hendricks for ruining my wife's new truck and now causing a problem with our mairage of 39 years.  Now I'm having to spend more money to make the ugly duckling into a nice looking truck, new wheels and tires, chrome package, new grill,  it's going to cost me $4,500 to get right. But then it still runs like crap. No power, such a dog. But I will stick to word and will never drive are get in it again. 

I went to Hardy Chevrolet in Gainesville Ga. last week and bought me a new Z71,  I love this truck, so does everyone who sees it. It get lots of attention. The best part was the way I was treated at Hardy Chevrolet. It was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I will be going back when I'm ready to trade one of my trucks in for a new one. I will never set foot in a Hendricks dealership as long as I live.
