Hensel Phelps (HP) Charges subcontractors for HP's mistakes in project schedule/work Denver Colorado
HP forces 'backcharge' change orders on its subcontractors for out of sequence schedule mistakes made by HP. Subcontractors are forced to take the deductive change order or they hold subcontractor payments.
Deductive change orders are for HP to re-coup monies HP spent on their own mistakes. HP will also reduce a subcontractors monthly project billing as they see fit to show their 'strength' on the project. They care little about the quality of work.
