Hess & Kennedy Debt consolidators BEWARE! Coral Springs Florida
Over 1 year ago my husband I signed up with Hess & Kennedy company to consolidate our medical debt or so we thought. They said they could settle our estimated 12,000 in debt for roughly 6,000. Our account was paid in full in February of 2007 and it has been a year now and they have not settled with any of our creditors!
We have tried on many occassions to contact someone at Hess & Kennedy that can give us information about our account. My husband and I seem to just keep getting the run around. They have hung up on me or i have been told that someone will contact us and it never happens.
We recently filed a complaint with the Florida Bar and also sent a letter to Hess Kennedy stating that we want our money back in full. The other day I received a letter saying that our account with them is cancelled. I called to see what was going on with our money and got no answers.
After 2 days of persistently calling them I was told that we would receive a refund in 60 days and that we would be charged a service fee of almost $1700.00!! I am outraged. Hess & Kennedy sat on my hard earned money for over a year (collecting interest on it I am sure) and then had the nerve to charge a service fee. We will not give up until we are paid in full!!
If anyone is even thinking of working with Hess & Kennedy I strongly advise that you DO NOT
