As an employee im pretty sure i read it somewhere in bolded letters "The customer is always right, even when the customers is wrong". There is no point in arguing. it's just a job. its not something to be taken personal.
you should had asked for the cams to have been rewind and gotten your money back. And gotten this class a-hole fire so he doesn't do it to anybody else. now this guy is still probably still working there stealing people money without some of them even knowing it.
