What you read on HP's website was maximum ROLL length, not maximum PRINT length.. this is on their specs page denoting the maximum media length the printer can track to let you know how many feet are left on the roll. I use a HP Designjet 5500ps commercially and anyone who knows anything about print would know that 129 inches is the limit for most conventional Raster Image Processors.. HP does NOT have a RIP that will accommodate a 300 foot print, nor would there be any operating system that could handle a print like that. Why would anyone need a banner that long anyhow? This is a clear case of the user not knowing how to read and comprehend the English language.
