My husband and I had a very similar situation with a TV we purchased from HHGregg and had to have serviced by Electra-Sound. Our TV had a messed up pictured and we called the warranty place....a different company since our TV is older and HHGregg switched companies since then for warranty work. The warranty company sent a man from Electra-Sound out. He tried to get the picture to work and it got better but not fixed. He said there was nothing more he could do but we had to adjust our settings. Long story short that was not acceptable to us. We kep in contact with the warranty company and they kept sending him to say he couldn't fix it. They replaced a couple of parts and finally when they wanted to replace a major part they warranty company decided to send us the replacement cost of the TV. My suggestion is to stay on the warranty company and keep having the service person out as much as they tell you to. If you still aren't happy or it doesn't get fixed keep calling them back. If you have all the paperwork from Electra-Sound you can always go into HHGregg and show them that you have tried to deal with their warranty company and you are getting the run around. If you have the documentation to back up your point the managers will sometimes get involved and call the warranty company for you. One did for us and the repair man came out the next day for the last visit before they realized our TV could not be fixed and they would have to pay replacement on it. It took us over 4 months of constantly calling and working with them but it is finally resolved. Just remember that they are not going to keep calling you because if you let it drop it doesn't cost them a dime but if you keep up on them of not being satisfied until it is fixed the will do what is right. Good Luck!
