I am Chris Bostick, the owner of Hickory Hollow Carnival Kia. We had a vehicle listed incorrectly on our web site. The person that wrote the above complaint saw the advertisement and contacted a new salesperson at the dealership. The salesperson went by the price, as did the customer, listed on the website. The customer contacted their bank for financing. The customer also had a vehicle they wished to trade on the Malibu. When I was contacted by the customer and made aware of the situation, I agreed to sell the Malibu for the listed price (even though there is a disclaimer on the site as to mistakes that from time to time happen, and prices are subject to change). The customer agreed to the price and then said they wanted to trade in their vehicle and wanted a price that I was not willing to pay for it. At that point they became upset that I would not pay retail for their trade in addition to taking a huge loss on the vehicle that was listed incorrectly. The incorrect price was truly a mistake and was in no way intentional. Sincerely, Chris Bostick Carnival Kia

I have bough a very nice used 02 Ford Explorer for a very reasonable price from Hickory Hollow Kia. My credit was not good at all and they were willing to do whatever it took to find a bank that would finance me. I was extremely impressed at how hard my salesperson worked. As far as the owner - I had the pleasure of meeting him eye to eye as I was waiting to get a bank approval, and he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Very polite, asking about my experience, making sure everything was going smoothly with finding a bank. He was very hands-on involved, everyone worked very hard. I was there for a couple of hours waiting and just observing their work place and I can say I saw nothing but pure professionalism. Nobody tried to rip me off. I did have a transmission issue within a first month of my purchase and Hickory Hollow Kia was more than happy to rebuild the whole thing for me FREE OF CHARGE! I don't think they're unprofessional, rude or anything like what I read in previous reports. Only good experience with Hickory Hollow Kia management here.
