Hobbytron World Tech Toys Ruined Christmas for 3 small children. Valencia California
Hobbytron offered a 3-pak of Dodge monster trucks colored green,black and white. When they arrived they were all three white. We decided that we could live with that by labeling each one with a child's name. However they were also on the same frenquency making it impossible to use them together.
Calling customer service was a complete waste of time. Ben...the call center manager,basically said "tough luck" there's nothing he can do. He said that these trucks were only availabe in two frenquencies. That would make one wonder why they sold them as a 3-pack.
So we've been burned by a company that cares little or nothing about customer satisfaction. Maybe the 70 bucks it cost us is worth the lesson. However 3 disappointed kids on Christmas morning was a far greater price to pay.
I'd advise anyone who reads this to think twice before dealing with Hobbytron. There are companies on the internet that are reputable. Do your homework. Be careful of glowing consumer reports. A lot of them are generated by the company itself.
