HOME DEPOT FALSE ADVERTISEMENT SAN DIEGO California
I'm a regular customer at this location. I moved to Poway Town home at 2001 and since then this location became my home repair outlet.
I remodeled my home 2001 and 2003 all purchases from this home depot . I sent 1000's $$$ over the years for upkeep.
Lately though I see a culture change. Every emeployee smile to your face but when you really need help you areliky if you find some one.
After 10 -12 years I decided remodel everything again.
My latest purchase was a week ago set of new blinds. I was dissapointed with the quality of Chinese made of product which was build veriy poorly.
However that experience open my eyes and I paid attention everything which was advertised for discounted price was Chinese made and I stayed away from it.
My real frustration came out when I shopped for granite counter tops. Home Depot is advertising $34 SgFt 4 different granite choices including installation. I found the design person who is the sales man supposed to be. I made sketches showing shape and mesurement of the counter tops. Salesman after reviewing the sketches said "this product installers does not instal Center Isle and B'fast-nook for those you have to buy starting $49 SF products". By surprise I said "then $34 price just to bring you in to upsale expensive ones" and he told me with smile "Yes".
I'm glad to see that new (((competitor's name redacted))) opening in Poway
