I hired this company to stop a sale date on my sisters home. They did stop a sale date before so I trusted their word. They told me that they stop the sale date on the same day as the sale which I talked to another company and they were suprized at hearing this. I contacted them a few times to ask if they would be able to stop the sale date which they charged me $1100 a month for this service. They told me yes the sale date would be stopped.

Then I get a call in the afternoon telling me the sale was rejected but my house had no buyers so it went to the bank. But they filed for a reverse. I don't think they made much of an effort because I kept getting excuses or no answert. Then they told me that I would have to pay $1700 to start the paperwork on giving me time to move.

So now I have to find a new p[lace to live for me and my daughter. These guys are a scam so beware!!

I am responding to the complaint about home retention alliance of california. After a disabling workaccident. I lost a 10yr job and my home went from a forbearance to a foreclosure and what seemed like no time. After being contacted bye a flood of different people claiming to help me I was days away from foreclosure and at my wit's end. When I received the flyer from HR AOC. I contacted them and Albert Gil I told him my situation he explained to me exactly what they did for clients. Albert explained they charge no upfront money and only challenged the sale of the home to have it postponed or cancelled temporarily. This was the only firm out of doesn't I had contacted that did not demand upfront money to help me Albert was thoughtful straightforward and let me know exactly what to expect each step of the way. As promised he contacted me within a day after talking to him letting me know that they had been able to get my sale date cancelled and where I could look it up on public record to see for myself. I went to the auctioneers sale site and saw with my own eyes that the sale had indeed been cancelled Alberta still working with me free of charge after the $1,200 I gladly sent him. It was well worth every penny. You work with the same person every step. Now he is helping me get him work on a modification at no charge at all.Albert is a wonderful person and this is a company that does what they say they are there to help. Without the help of Home Retention Alliance of California and Albert Gil I would be packing my things and moving out of my home I have nothing but thanks for all they have done for me.
