Home Trust Never Ever Use Home Trust Toronto Nationwide
Home Trust will lock you in for years with a CLOSED mortgage that you can't get out of and will never allow you to refinance, no matter how much you earn or how much your house goes up in value. They also charge huge fees, which you don't know about until it's too late. The only thing you can do is sell your house to get out of this mortage before it's due.
The rates never get better, and all they will do when you ask to refinance is decline without even sending an appraiser to assess the value of your home. When you leave a message to ask why you were declined, or ask if you can refinance for less, they don't call you back. I wasn't even informed that I had been declined until I called to ask what was going on. In between, I left message after message and no one ever called me back. This is the way they handled my refinance request twice.
My bank has repeatedly asked me if I want a mortgage from them, but now I can only wait to get out of my nighmare mortgage with Home Trust Canada when it expires. Whatever you do, DON'T GET A MORTGAGE FROM HOME TRUST.
