I am not associated with HomeAccessUSA, but did see an ad for a house rental in my town, with an appealling solicitation to take over payments. I called, and the spiel was similar, though the person didn't say he would not hold-off using my credit card. It seemed a legit enough service. There are many foreclosures in my town, more than any other CA city, and I am aware that it is a legal and profitable niche to rescue homeowners from pending foreclosure by getting their permission to negotiate a new price with their bank, and take over the house at an impressive below-market value. What HomeAccess USA is doing appears to be acting as middle-man, finding the distressed properties and linking them to investors. Not a bad business, rather entrepreneurial. I am in business for myself. Learning to become an entrepreneur means accepting some risk, and figuring things out as you go. There can be some mistakes. Other than some apparent quirks with the credit card and $198 fee terms, I'm not seeing a scam here. We need to hear from someone who has actually been working with them for awhile, who can clearly state that the whole program is bogus. So far, I'm still interested in working with HomeAccess, but would like to know if it's really bad thru and thru. I'm just not seeing that yet.
