HomeAdvisor.com Home Advisor or Home advisor.com Home Advisor is a SCAM. Businesses pay for listings, they sensor negative reviews, and terms of service contradict claims. Nationwide
On HomeAdvisor.com you can search for a "Trusted Home Improvement Pro". Next there is a quote from a woman that states, "Home Advisor is a secure way to find a trusted contractor. THEY ALLOW ME TO FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE BRINGING SOMEONE INTO YOUR HOME".
YET ON Home Advisor's TERMS AND CONDITIONS! They state that, "THEY DO NOT DO BACKGROUND CHECKS!' Nor do they make any kind of preresentation that the provider is licesned reputable or even garranteed!
After I was SCREWED TWICE by two companies I FOUND ON HOME ADVISOR, I left NEGATIVE FEEDBACK and after a month of waiting I left negative feedback once again. NONE OF MY CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK WAS EVER POSTED.
After thinking something is not right with Home Advisor, I CONTACTED THEM AS A BUSINESS REQUESTING A LISTING.
THE ONLY REQUIREMENTS TO HAVE YOUR BUSINESS LISTED ON HOME ADVISOR IS BY PAYING THEM MONEY!
DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. TO VERIFY THAT HOME ADVISOR IS A SCAM READ THEIR OWN LIES AND DISCOVER THE TRUTH BY DOING THE FOLLOWING:

After posting the above report about Home Advisor being a scam, I found a COMPANY WHO COMPLAINED ABOUT BEING CHARGED FOR BOGUS LEADS. The report is here on ripoff report:
