HomeDepot Price match guarantee Charleston, South Carolina
Home Depot had washer & dryer for $749.00 each which I purchased to be delivered later. HH Gregg had same set for $649.00 each. So I went back to HD & asked about price match & they wouldnt do it because HH Gregg charged more for extended warranty. It didnt matter on the individual price of the machines so I cancelled my order at HD & they lost out on a $2300.00 sale plus a rude customer service person.

Home Depot didnt care the washer & dryer & pedastals were cheaper elsewhere, She said the price match guarantee was only good for the total purchase price for everything. HH gregg chargeg 69 for delivery & their extended warranty was higher but was for another year. so therefore my total bill was higher. I could have gone back & had HH Gregg write another invoice without extended warranty but I figured the price match was on an tangible item. I read three huge posters in store & none of them state this policy!

Was your price at Home Depot $749 ea including extended warranty? Did H H Gregg charge $649 ea PLUS additional for an extended warranty? Are we comparing the same things here?
